The work team's task is to answer colleagues' queries on any call for tenders and to assess ex officio the procedures for the assignment of architectural and engineering services tendered in the Metropolitan City of Milan, with the aim of promoting improvements in calls for tender where anomalies are found, and to guarantee the Order's supervision of the tender processes, supporting the Contracting Stations in drafting the calls for tender.
The work team is also responsible for collecting and transmitting reports on calls for tender and assignments of architectural and engineering services in the territory and within the areas of OAMi's competence to ONSAI. ONSAI is the National Observatory on Architectural and Engineering Services promoted by CNAPPC (the National Council of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects and Conservationists) in collaboration with CRESME (Centre for Economic, Sociological and Market Research in Construction)
The activity of the Competitions work team is aimed at both tendering bodies and professional colleagues interested in participating in competitions, to make participation in calls for tender easier and more transparent, promoting information and clarifications concerning their content and procedures. The group also manages the implementation of the Concorrimi platform, monitoring the individual competitions promoted by public and private entities, from the first contacts through to the announcement of the results.
The Archipop work team is dedicated to the promotion of a culture of equal opportunities and inclusion among members of the Order and in the practice of the profession.
The work team deals with regulations and good practices in the field of fire prevention, supporting the professionals by means of informative activities and with the dissemination among members of information transmitted to the Order by the Provincial Fire Department.
The work team deals with relations between the Order and the Public Administration. It also monitors the implementation of the DIMMI web app, with particular regard to the management of questions and answers between professionals and the public administration, the monitoring of regulatory updates in the field of urban planning and construction in cooperation with other associations and stakeholders (Tavolo C’è Milano da Fare) and the implementation of the PGT online portal, created by OAMi in collaboration with Centro Studi PIM, ANCE and the Order of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects and Conservationists of Monza e Brianza.
The team coordinates with the provincial and regional contacts of the Civil Protection Department for regulatory updates and training activities, in conjunction with the National Council of Architects, Landscape Architects, Planners and Conservationists (CNAPPC).
To strengthen its commitment to the protection of the profession, the Council of the Order 2021-2025 has set up the Fair Work Team to monitor and work on providing effective solutions to the most significant and recurring problems of members, with particular reference to working collaborations between professionals.
A working group dedicated to ‘Universal Design’, with the aim of opening a structured reflection on the contribution that the organisation can make to the complex theme of inclusion in the profession of architecture.
Working group promoted in the framework of grassroots activities to promote processes of participation and rapprochement with the territory of the Città Metropolitana.
