Concorrimi

10 years, 81 competitions, thousands of Italian and foreign participants, average age of the winners 40 years old: these are the figures that testify to Concorrimi's contribution to the season of rebirth of design competitions in Italy.

Concorrimi is a competition template and a computer platform for managing the competition procedure; it is a service provided by the Milan Order of Architects to promote the quality of architecture through the comparison of ideas and cultural debate on the transformations of our territory. Concorrimi is also an opportunity for young professionals to create their own architecture, chosen by quality juries that reward the idea rather than the professional.

Since January, 1st, 2024, with the full effectiveness of the regulations of the new Public Contracts Code, it is mandatory to manage the entire public tender process through certified digital platforms. The Concorrimi platform will resume full operation as soon as the certification activities are completed.

The scope of the competition subject matter varies: the platform has been used for projects relating to entire parts of cities, public buildings, private buildings, urban or infrastructural redevelopment,for monuments and, lastly, for urban master plan proposals.
