OAMi is committed to the inclusion, training, and empowerment of members under the age of 35, of which there are approximately 2,000 in the Milan register. Ad hoc training activities, discounts, projects and dedicated initiatives are some of the activities promoted by OAMi and the OAMi Foundation to accompany young professionals on their path to professional growth.

Initiatives implemented

2018 OAMi has introduced subsidised registration fees for professionals under 35 and for members who are new parents.


2019–2020 With the “Fondo Giovani” project, co-financed by the CNAPPC, a survey was carried out on the preferences and requests of members under 35 with respect to the services and activities organised by OAMi, along with the “seeking-offering” platform.


2016-2020 Various initiatives were undertaken in collaboration with AAA architetticercasi.


2019–2020 Design workshops with dedicated tutors were organised for under-35s, the results of which were presented in evenings open to the public.


2020–2021 Sono state organizzate le serate “Young talents of architecture” and “Young architectures” evenings were organised to highlight the design and research work of professionals under 35 from Milan and beyond.

24.09.2025 Premio Baffa Rivolta 2025

Project passed to 2°phase

8 projects (out of 22 submitted) from France, Spain and Switzerland were selected for the second phase of the 10th edition of the Baffa Rivolta Prize. All the participating projects are visibile on premiobaffarivolta.ordinearchitetti.mi.it. Deadline for the final selection by November 21, 2025.

Gabriele Basilico Prize 2025: the winner

Italian Photographer Matteo de Mayda wins the Fifth Edition of the Gabriele Basilico Prize in Architecture and Landscape Photography with a photographic work dedicated to the disaster caused by Storm Vaia in autumn 2018 in the forests of the Dolomites, between Veneto, Trentino Alto-Adige and Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Published the 10th edition of Baffa Rivolta Award

Published the new Edition of the European Architecture Matilde Baffa Ugo Rivolta Award, focused on best social housing building builts in Europe. The projects that can be entered must to be built, ended and consigned between January 2020 and December 2024. Deadline first stage by 10 September 2025.
