dimmi

DIMMI is the platform promoted by OAMi, to offer explanations, clarifications and solutions to the most common and widespread queries among professionals.
It does not replace legal and regulatory instruments and the answers to the published queries do not constitute opinions, but a support to the profession and a tool to facilitate relations between professionals and the Public Administration.

Go to DIMMI

DIMMI originated from interaction with the Sportello Unico Edilizia of Milan City Council, with the Osservatorio Edilizio Cittadino and with other institutional offices, the aim being to extend the sharing of content to other bodies and institutions over time.

Each answer lends itself to an assessment of its usefulness and each assessment will be useful in improving the platform.

How to consult DIMMI

DIMMI is organised into categories and specific sub-topics, each containing numbered questions and answers.

You can search by category, either by following the menu in each area or by entering keywords in the central search bar. We recommend that you:

  1. start with a search by subject area, identifying the topic want to clarify

  2. follow with a keyword search: this type of search may be less precise, as it is based on the presence of the words entered both in the questions and in the answers (the more recurrent a term is, the better the search results will be);

  3. in the absence of adequate answers to your question, you can  send queries and questions here

  4. you can also book an appointment at one of the help desks which OAMi makes available to its members free of charge.

DIMMI's answers

The answers published on DIMMI are a complementary interpretative aid but in no way a substitute for the regulatory instruments in force. Each question assessed as being of general interest is submitted to the appropriate authority for a formal reply. While waiting for the authority's response, the timing of which is not always compatible with the applicant's needs, an answer formulated by a group of experts selected by OAMi is provided on the basis of their personal experience and fields of expertise, without this being in any way interpreted or used as a regulatory source. The professionals who contribute to the initiative answer the questions, compatibly with the information given to them, without examining documentation relating to the individual case and with the need to respect limits in terms of the length of the answers.
