Training obligation
Members of the Order are required by law to achieve a minimum of 60 professional training credits (ptc) for each three-years training period, of which 12 related to the area of statutory disciplines.
The 4th four-years training period, 2023-2025, will expire on 31 December 2025.
Training credits can be acquired through training initiatives accredited by the Orders and from a variety of activities envisaged by the Guidelines on compulsory continuous training.
Members of the Milan Order can check the credits acquired through the CNAPPC Training Platform (Services Portal). Those who do not comply with the obligation to keep up to date are committing a disciplinary offence as indicated in paragraph 2 of art. 9 of the Code of Ethics. At the end of each three-year period of training and of any voluntary compliance, positions that have not been settled are reported to the Disciplinary Council for the commencement of disciplinary procedures.
The obligation originates from article 7 of Presidential Decree no. 137/2012 of the Reform of Professional Orders which came into force on 1 January 2014. Registered members may freely attend the training initiatives they are interested in, observing the modalities and criteria described in the Regulations approved by the Ministry and published in the Official Bulletin of the Ministry of Justice no. 17 of 16 September 2013 and amended by Regulation no. 13 of 15 July 2017.
