Enrolment/Cancellation

The titles of architect, planner, landscape architect and conservator, junior architect and junior planner, are acquired by graduating and passing the relevant State Examination, while, in order to practise the profession, it is necessary to be enrolled in the Register, which is divided into Sections (A and B) and relative sectors.

Membership of a specific Professional Order depends on the place of registered residence or professional domicile. Applications for registration, as well as transfers and deletions, are subject to the prior approval of the Bar Council.

Upon successful registration, the professional is issued with a stamp and a registration number.

To enrol, it is necessary to fill in the application and the annexed forms to be handed in to the secretariat by appointment.

Forms and declarations

When submitting the application for registration with the Order, the applicant must fill in the professional data sheet and will also be given a declaration of commitment to register with Inarcassa.

Professional stamp

The professional stamp is issued free of charge to new members, with collection from the offices of the Order. Duplicates of the professional stamp are issued for a charge: after filling in the application for a duplicate, payment must be made on the PagoPA website (selecting: secretarial services > stamps). It is necessary to specify gender at the time of enrolment in the register or application for a duplicate stamp (architetto being the Italian for male architect and architetta being the female).
