Il 9 ottobre si terrà a Milano il seminario "Libraries change cities". Lo scopo è quello di valutare l’impatto che le biblioteche di nuova concezione possono determinare sul contesto urbano

Il 9 ottobre si terrà, presso la UniCredit Tower Hall, Via Fratelli Castiglioni 12, Milano, il seminario "Libraries change cities. Urban and social impacts of new libraries", al quale parteciperanno, tra gli altri, gli architetti Stefano Boeri e Matteo Schubert.

Il seminario, in linea con le attività di innovazione già avviate dall’Area biblioteche del Comune di Milano, ha lo scopo di valutare l’impatto che le biblioteche di nuova concezione possono determinare sul contesto urbano. Partendo dal confronto con realtà internazionali già consolidate si intende indagare sui fattori che caratterizzeranno la vita urbana nei prossimi decenni, ipotizzando servizi innovativi mirati ai nuovi bisogni degli abitanti.
